BEFORE CROSSING THE PORTAL
Your
questions.
An adventure begins with clear expectations.
Is the realm open to the public yet?
Not yet. Access was tested in the local lab. Public hosting, the game domain and website account registration are not implemented yet.
Will there be paid advantages?
We will not sell VIP equipment or levels. Power should be earned in the game. The shop has no catalog or payments yet.
Has everything been tested?
The beginning of the game worked in our tests. Quests, abilities, dungeons, raids and the economy still need validation; we do not promise a bug-free experience.
Where will the server be hosted?
We are evaluating a US location. The final choice depends on latency measurements from South America, North America and Europe. There is no public game address yet.
Is this an official Blizzard project?
No. Blizzard of Northrend is an independent private project, with no affiliation, sponsorship or approval from Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.
